Today John Mueller, Google Webmaster Trends Analyst, issued a warning via Twitter about duplicate content issues he’s seeing. He also clarified what doesn’t qualify as duplicate content. Trailing Slash on Root/Hostname Trailing slashes on root/hostnames don’t matter. What that means is that it doesn’t matter if there is a forward slash at the end of your domain name or not, they both equal the same thing.
